Description
The Trojan Marching Band saluted the USC Song Girls on the occasion of their 50th anniversary for Homecoming on Nov. 10. Song Girl alumnae from the past five decades joined the band to dance for a "Ladies of Pop" show corresponding with the era they were at the university:
1968-1984 - “Think” by Aretha Franklin
1985-1999 - “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor
2000-2009 - “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” by Whitney Houston
2010-2018 - “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga
For the finale, all Song Girl alumnae and USC Band drumline and tuba alumni joined in for the jazz classic, "Sing, Sing, Sing."
