Chanuka is the festival of lights. It is celebrated for 8 days to remember the miracle of the oil that burned for 8 days in the time of the Second Temple.

Boys Town Jerusalem is situated in Jerusalem, Israel. It is a school for over 900 boys, many of whom come from under privileged homes. More than 75% come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and require substantial scholarship assistance. No student is ever turned away from Boys Town Jerusalem due to inability to pay tuition.

BTJ is one of Israel’s major technological training centers. The boys once graduated go on to the IDF and many become beacons in Israeli society.
