Here is the Litany of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus in Latin chanted by the Heralds of the Gospel. The text of this truly exorcistic Precious Blood Litany was drawn up by the Sacred Congregation of Rites and promulgated by Pope John XXIII on February 24, 1960. The form of the Litany is actually older, for similar texts can be found in early 20th century prayer books. This Litany of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus is traditionally chanted or recited every day during the month of July by faithful traditional Catholics.

Devotion to the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ was first popularized by St. Gaspar del Bufalo (1786-1837, feast Dec. 28) who founded the Missioners of the Most Precious Blood. A PARTIAL INDULGENCE is granted to the faithful who recite this litany, which is approved for either private or public use.
