BIO - Kamaliza John Salamba’s story begins recording vocal acapellas into his computer via the program “Audacity” as an 11 year old, in his Western Sydney home town of Penrith. A self taught musician who has progressed to a complete artist that writes, produces, mixes, performs and sings on all of his original material. Creating a style that blends electronic R&B/Soul with UK Garage influences. Former front man of duo Olympic Ayres who amassed over 12 million plays on Spotify, he has now switched the focus to write material influenced by the music he grew up on; music that is emotive, music that tells a story of friends, family and the community around him. With his debut single Zermatt currently sitting just under 1 million plays on spotify and the follow up Zanzibar sitting at 2 Million plays, Kamaliza will introduce “Zenith” in August 10th 2018, the 3rd of the “Z” trilogy.
